Currently on the train back home to Hamburg from Mannheim listening to Rush. I would like to thank everyone who made this year’s Guitar Summit extra special. It‘s so important to have events like this in these crazy fast digital times.
After 3 1/2 days, it is pretty obvious for me, that the digital world of social media just can’t replace the magic, human factor, spirit of these kind of shows. I just had the best time! And if you couldn’t make it, I highly recommend you to attend next year! It’s a must for every guitar nerd!
Thanks to all the wonderful companies that have supported me so well over the last years! It was so great to see you all in person finally again!
And of course, the whole Guitar Summit team that made it possible!

Happy new year! Hope 2023 started off nicely for you! Just returned from Switzerland where we played our first show of the new year with Pink Cream 69. Thanks to a fabulous audience, it was a wonderful concert! Band was on fire as well! And we also played „One step into paradise“ spontaneously as an encore. Never played it together with this line up. It made a lot of people happy!
We are now working on our new record! It takes a bit of time but it will be worth it! Take care, enjoy life and all the best from me to you!

Really enjoying this hot summer of 2022. Various things are going on at the moment. We finally managed to conclude the first "The Arc of Light" album. "A Cinematic Reverie" is an album I´m immensely proud of. The band consists of Julian Rolinger (What a voice!), David Bertok (what an amazing musician, songwriter, keyboardist) and yours truly! We are real friends who wrote those songs in 2018 and we can´t wait to put it out finally in October! We call the music "Cinematic Prog". You will understand why I think 😉 We also finished a photosession with Eric Thoma in Saarland, Germany. You will see the results soon!
It´s also wonderful to be back on stage after two years of Covid madness! Just played in Liege, Belgium last weekend. It was another great show with Pink Cream 69. I just love playing these songs and the energy level on stage is always very high! Check out new concert dates in the "Tourdates" section. We will return to France and also Belgium again in October! Can´t wait! Alright, I hope you have a great summer. Wishing you all the best as always!

Just returned from the incredible Masters of Rock festival in the Czech Republic. It was my fourth time playing there and my first with Pink Cream 69.
The show was absolutely fantastic. Great audience, luckily it didn´t rain when we played. I also want to thank the whole team on and off stage, the technicians, the catering crew, the production staff. Everything was amazing. See you next time! Schleswig-Holstein, Germany - July 11th, 2022
Hope everyone is well and healthy! We had a great rehearsal session with Pink Cream 69 in Karlsruhe, Germany last week! I think we created a great setlist for the upcoming show at the Masters of Rock festival in the Czech Republic July 8th. Expect all the classics but also some deep cuts!
Besides that, we are still working on the new album with a possible release set for spring 2023. Enjoy the summer, have a great time and I hope to see many of you at the upcoming shows!

"2022! There it is! A new year! Wishing you and your loved ones a fantastic, healthy, prosperous 2022! Corona is still raging. Now with its latest variant "Omicron" (Sounds like the new hope of Black Metal). It´s still a very difficult time for musicians/artists but we have to hang in there and I hope that the situation will be much better at the end of the year! Fingers crossed!
We´re still working on the new Pink Cream 69 record. Very pleased with the songwriting and pre-production! It rocks but at the same time, there are also some new "colours" added to the PC69 picture. More on that hopefully very soon!
The next "Guitar Stories" single "Nachtklänge Pt.II" (Nightsounds Pt.II) will be released on all streaming services, February 11th. It´s probably the most progressive,adventurous piece of music I have written so far! Outstanding drums by my old pal Alex Landenburg as well!

"I hope you are enjoying this beautiful autumn season. I have always loved this time of the year and right now as I´m writing this new update, Hamburg is covered in gorgous,glorious golden leaves.
Currently, I´m deep into recording guitars for the new, upcoming Pink Cream 69 album. I have a good feeling that it´s gonna be a great album, full of hooks, great riffs and epic melodies. There is still some work to do though. Hang in there 🙂
In September, I also had a fantastic time at the famous Reeperbahn Festival here in Hamburg. It was so good to meet fellow musicians, friends from the industry in real life and not just on Social Media. I was there to present some incredible PRS Guitars (Photo attached below). I also played on stage for the great guitar store - No.1. No.1 is one of the best guitar stores in the world. If you are in Hamburg, make sure to go there! I also made some videos with my buddy Thomas Blug which you can find on Youtube. Alright, back to work! I still need to record some more overdubs and solos for the new PC69 record! With this signing, Pink Cream 69 have returned to the Steamhammer/SPV fold almost 18 years after the release of their 2004 album ‘Thunderdome’. Alfred Koffler is delighted: “Since ‘Thunderdome’, the contact with Steamhammer`s product manager Olly Hahn, who did a great job back then, has never ceased. That`s why we have absolute trust in SPV and feel that we are in good hands. We’re confident that our collaboration will be a fruitful one again.”

Dear friends, fans and followers!
What a year! A year we certainly will never forget! It truly was a bizarre year but for me personally definitely NOT a lost year. I learned so much, had so much time to dig even deeper into music and the guitar, spent more time in nature, tried more different coffee brands, appreciated silence (sometimes)...but also missed airports, airport food (crazy..I know!), even Jetlag, the stage, festivals, exhibitions, conversations in real life, face to face backstage with people all around the world etc etc...
Well, let’s make the best of it, stay positive, wear a mask and hope for a more „dynamic“ 2021!
Wishing you and your loved ones all the very best! Especially health which is -as we all experienced again this year- the most important!

"Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and welcome to my brand new website!
I hope you will enjoy the content of my musical journey. As you know and experience, COVID-19 is changing so much in the music world right now. Gigs, tours, festivals are all postponed to 2021 and even 2022. I joined the band PINK CREAM 69 in January and we were so looking forward to some great shows but it is what it is now and we all have to make the best out of this situation.
So, what´s actually happening in my life right now?
I´m enjoying some nice walks in the countryside, listening to music, playing a lot of guitar (as always), constantly working on my solo guitar album "Guitar Stories", preparing clinics for/with PRS Guitars in Frankfurt and Walldorf, Germany and also doing online lessons with highly motivated students.
